Hi, I’m Dana - a self-taught acrylic painter based in Montreal, Quebec. I started painting with acrylics in 2020, after having to stay home from my day job. Before venturing into painting I was using watercolours and doing portraiture for many years. My go-to is room portraits and still life but I have been trying out styles and enjoys keeping things new and challenging.

Although painting isn’t my full-time job, I hope to lean into it more in the coming years.

Finding inspiration everywhere; in ordinary life but with a romantic spin. The way light hits objects and makes things feel beautiful. The way colours compliment each other.
